Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Meridian Chapters.

1. Service description
Meridian Chapters provides professionally curated background music streaming for hospitality venues. The service includes music programming, streaming hardware, and public performance licensing compliance tools.
2. Subscription plans
We offer the following plans:
- MC Solo (€33/month): Single-zone background music for one area
- MC Multi (€46/month): Multi-zone control for separate areas with independent programming
All plans include a 10-day free trial. Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled. No setup fees or long-term commitments required.
3. Acceptable use
The service is licensed for:
- Background music playback in commercial hospitality venues
- The specific venue(s) registered in your account
- Use with Meridian-provided or approved streaming hardware
You may not redistribute, record, or sublicense the music content. The service is for background ambiance only — not for events, broadcasts, or public performances beyond the registered venue.
4. Hardware
Meridian Chapters provides a compact streaming device (Barix) that connects to your existing speaker system. The device remains the property of Meridian Chapters and must be returned upon service cancellation. You are responsible for providing a stable internet connection and compatible audio system.
5. Licensing compliance
Meridian Chapters provides tools to help you manage public performance licensing obligations. While we facilitate compliance, the ultimate responsibility for obtaining and maintaining appropriate licenses with your local Performance Rights Organization (PRO) remains with the venue operator.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Upon cancellation, please return the streaming hardware within 14 days. No cancellation fees apply.
7. Limitation of liability
Meridian Chapters provides the service "as is." We are not liable for temporary service interruptions due to internet connectivity, hardware failures, or force majeure events. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 3-month period.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts in Split, Croatia.
